As one of the nation’s leading estate planning software, WealthDocx™ helps estate planning attorneys increase their drafting efficiency through the creation of the highest quality legal documents in a fraction of the time. Powered by the HotDocs software application, WealthDocx enables estate planning attorneys to create documents using interactive and detailed interviews that guide the document drafting process. By helping to eliminate the human errors that repetitive typing and cut-and-paste methods introduce, attorneys can practice with greater confidence knowing they are providing their clients with high-quality, customized legal documents.
In August 2009, WealthCounsel released WealthDocx™ 7, the next generation of its drafting system. This new version of WealthDocx™ improves the drafting experience through a streamlined software interface and integrated web-based navigational functionality. Unlike most other drafting systems on the market today, WealthDocx 7 includes a state-of-the-art help system referred to as “WealthCounsel Dynamic Intelligence” that educates the user about the underlying issues one should consider when answering questions during the client interview. Thus, in addition to increasing efficiency and confidence, WealthDocx actually enhances the drafter’s legal competency.
Another unique feature of WealthDocx is the contribution of the collective wisdom and collaborative insight and input of the thousands of estate planning attorneys who use the system. In addition, WealthDocx users enjoy unlimited and complimentary technical and legal support.
WealthDocx contains the following document modules:

our mutual client. She wanted to know if the trust accommodated some outlandish scenario of events.
I pulled up the trust and read it in great detail to figure out what the trust document said would happen if, well, basically, if pigs fly. And of course, our WealthCounsel documents handled the scenario beautifully and correctly. I called the trust officer back and told her where to look and how it would work. She was suitably impressed, as was I.
Our documents are so great, I tend to take their awesomeness for granted. But every now and then I actually have to digest them, and the quality is just wonderful.
Thanks, WealthCounsel, for giving us such a great product.

WealthDocx Frequently Asked Questions
What will my documents be like?
All documents are drafted in crisp, understandable, first-person, active-voice, plain English that meets your need for strong, substantive, technical content. We gave WealthCounsel documents a distinctive format and tone that makes them easy to read. Most importantly, the documents will evolve over time.
Why do I need the KnowledgeBase when I can create these materials myself?
While you may be able to do anything, you cannot do everything. Why not leverage yourself with the help of your colleagues and allow them to leverage your work as well? The knowledge base will make this possible 24 hours a day.
We each spend vast amounts of time attending educational events to gather ideas and keep our knowledge current. We spend countless hours each year reading listservs, professional journals, and tax reports. It takes hard work and long hours to turn this knowledge into profitable services for our clients. To put what we learn to good use, we must budget many additional hours, usually at night and on weekends away from our families. The task is daunting. Most of us fall short.
The KnowledgeBase makes all the materials we need available to us through the internet. As we each contribute, the KnowledgeBase will adapt to changes in our profession and in the law.
