C. Dennis Brislawn, Jr., Esq.

Kirkland, Washington

Mr. Brislawn is a partner in Brislawn Lofton, PLLC, located in Kirkland, Washington. He has a multi-disciplinary practice that includes wealth planning, estate and gift tax planning, estate and gift tax audits, asset protection, business planning, operations and succession, and charitable planning. His law practice serves primarily mid-to-high net worth clients located in the states of Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. As a former member of the U. S. armed forces, Mr. Brislawn received numerous U. S. and foreign decorations and awards, including Airborne-Ranger and French Army Commando qualifications. He has hosted the Real Wealth Network KVI-570 AM talk radio show in Seattle. He has an undergraduate degree, with honors, from Gonzaga University and a law degree from the University of Washington.

William A. Conway, Esq.

McLean, Virginia

As a tax attorney, investment banker and legal educator practicing in McLean, Virginia, Mr. Conway serves his clients with both financial and legal counsel. A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, he is a registered investment advisor and tax attorney included in Who’s Who in Finance and Industry and Who’s Who in American Law. As coauthor of WealthCounsel’s Irrevocable Trust Compendium, Mr. Conway teaches continuing education courses on estate planning and wealth preservation for attorneys, financial planners, and accountants. In addition to making guest appearances on television programs such as "The Money Makers" on PBS, Mr. Conway created and hosted the radio series, "Legacy," on Washington Business Radio, as well as serving as a co-host on "Money Talk – Family Fortunes." Mr. Conway is a member of the bars of the Commonwealth of Virginia, District of Columbia, and the State of Maryland.  Bill was recently appointed to the editorial board of Wealth Management Business, a series of five regionally-based magazines published by France Publications, Inc.

W. Edward Dean, Esq.

San Francisco, California

Mr. Dean is the principal of W. Edward Dean, P.C., located in San Francisco, California. He is a tax attorney who protects wealth through estate, income and charitable tax planning. Mr. Dean is a California Bar Association certified tax specialist and a member of the San Francisco Estate Planning Council and Northern California Planned Giving Council. He is a former editor of the Virginia Law Review, the Virginia Journal of International Law, and the New York University Tax Law Review. Mr. Dean received a B.A. and M.B.A., magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Dartmouth College, a J.D. from the University of Virginia, and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University.

Lewis W. Dymond, Jr., Esq.

Frisco, Colorado

Mr. Dymond is president and founder of Dymond Consulting, Inc., a WealthDocx® consulting, auditing, and customized drafting solutions company. In 2000, Mr. Dymond was asked by the principals of WealthCounsel, LLC, to program the WealthDocx Family Limited Partnership system, and then in 2001, to design the Revocable Living Trust system. In that same year, he was hired on as CEO of WealthCounsel and tasked with the ongoing expansion of WealthDocx and the support of WealthCounsel members. Mr. Dymond became a principal of WealthCounsel in 2005 and resigned as CEO in 2007 to dedicate his full-time and attention to Dymond Consulting. Mr. Dymond received his undergraduate degree in Managerial Economics in 1969 from the University of Colorado, and his J.D. in 1971 from the University of Denver.

Stan Miller, Esq.

Little Rock, Arkansas

Mr. Miller is the senior shareholder of Miller Law Group, PLLC, a national estate planning law firm based in Little Rock, Arkansas. He advises clients with respect to a wide range of issues relating to wills and trusts, estate planning, trust administration, corporate and partnership matters, charitable giving, private foundations, supporting organizations, life insurance and taxation, family owned businesses, succession planning, and the significance of these issues to family relationships. A graduate of Vanderbilt Law School, Mr. Miller is licensed to practice before the U. S. Tax Court, Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and before all Arkansas Courts. Mr. Miller is co-author of WealthCounsel’s Family Limited Partnership system, the Revocable Trust system, and the Irrevocable Trust system.  A publisher's interview with Stan was featured in the November 2007 issue of Southeast Wealth Management Business, one of a series of five regionally-based magazines published by France Publications, Inc.

Peter J. Parenti, Esq.

San Antonio, Texas

Mr. Parenti is a wealth strategies estate planning and tax attorney in San Antonio, Texas. In addition to advanced wealth strategies planning, estate planning, and probate and tax law, his practice specializes in real estate transactions, business entities planning, business buy-outs and sell-outs, charitable estate planning, living trusts, family limited partnership creation, and design and asset protection estate planning. Mr. Parenti received his J.D. degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law, and his LL.M. degree in taxation from New York University School of Law. Thomas J. Ray, Jr., Esq.

Arnold, Missouri

Mr. Ray is an estate and tax attorney with offices in the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area, and the primary draftsman of WealthDocx charitable components. Ray has lectured and written extensively in the charitable tax planning area, and he has conducted seminars and workshops for attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, development officers, and donors throughout the United States. He is the author of the ABA bestselling deskbook entitled Charitable Gift Planning: A Practical Guide for the Estate Planner, the second edition of which was published in April 2007. Mr. Ray has written two privately published technical training manuals for lawyers on remainder trusts, lead trusts, private foundations, and supporting organizations. He is a member of the Missouri and Oklahoma bars, and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Ray is a principal in Planned Giving Concepts, Inc., a trust administration company that provides administrative support for charitable remainder trusts, lead trusts, and private foundations. Mr. Ray received his undergraduate and law degrees from Oklahoma City University.

D. Scott Schrader, Esq.

Little Rock, Arkansas

In 2010, after 15 years in practice, Mr. Schrader founded the firm of Winburn, Mano, Schrader & Shram, PLLC in Little Rock, Arkansas and concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning and post-death administration, as well as estate litigation and disputes. He advises clients with respect to a wide range of issues relating to wills and trusts, estate planning, trust administration, charitable giving, life insurance, and taxes. Mr. Schrader is licensed to practice before the Arkansas Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, the United States Appellate Court, Eighth Circuit, and the United States Tax Court. Mr. Schrader received his J.D. in 1996 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and his B.A. in Business Administration & Accounting from Ouachita Baptist University in 1993.

Roberta Trudeau

Reno, Nevada

Robbie was the first Executive Director for WealthCounsel beginning in 1997, then served as Sales Director and later Member Services Director until retiring from our staff in March of 2011.. She began her career as a securities broker for a family office in New York City in 1975. Since that time she has held sales and marketing executive positions in the financial services and legal education and technology industries and helped found five investment and legal support companies, the most recent being WealthCounsel, The Advisors Forum, and ElderCounsel.

Carl R. Waldman, Esq.

Westlake Village, California

Mr. Waldman is a practicing attorney with offices in Westlake Village, California. He specializes in tax planning and estate planning for business owners and executives, and Trust and Estate Administration law. Mr. Waldman is a member of the State Bar of California, American Bar Association Section of Taxation, Beverly Hills Bar Association and Los Angeles County Bar Association. In early 2006 he co-created and is a managing principal of The Advisors Forum, a sister company of WealthCounsel, LLC. Mr. Waldman was a guest lecturer for the "Estate Planning for Practitioners" course at California State University at Northridge from 1985 through 1990. Mr. Waldman has taught "The Basics of Estate Planning" and "Beyond the Basics of Estate Planning" for the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Waldman has served as an Adjunct Professor at National University, Los Angeles and as a consultant to The Richard M. Nixon Library and Birthplace and is a member of the Legal Advisory Board of The Capital Trust Company of Delaware. He co-authored the "Family Limited Partnership Compendium" published by Wealth Enhancement Strategies, LLC in 1995, the new "Family Limited Partnership System" published by WealthCounsel, LLC in 2000 and the "Living Trust Practice System" published by WealthCounsel, LLC in 2001. Mr. Waldman received his undergraduate degree in History at Pomona College (Claremont, California), and received his law degree at the University of California, Los Angeles.
